Fa Abdul and Big Nose Productions celebrate a belated Valentine’s Day with Her Story | His Story, a collection of six insightful monologues that explores the many shades of love. The humorous, surreal and deeply introspective plots explore human relationships from different perspectives. Content warning: The show contains mature language and content. Organised by the Penang State Museum Board, the Rising Sun Over Penang exhibition explores the historical and modern-day influence of Japan on Malaysia across various facets, dating back centuries to the arrival of Japanese merchants in the Malay Archipelago during the 17th century, to the Japanese occupation of Malaya and Japan’s post-war contribution to Malaysia’s progress, particularly in the manufacturing sector. Entrance is free.

Discover the art of Nanyang coffee-making in a decades-old kopitiam in the heart of George Town with Penang Hidden Gems’ resident tour guide, Tger Tatt. Born and raised in a family with a rich history of coffee-making, Tger is set to engage participants with stories and guide them in making a cuppa! Open to only 20 participants.

Get ready for another bug-tastic adventure with Raising Kids Penang as they join forces with Bens Mantids to show kids the cool side of insects such as centipedes, tarantulas, and mantises. There will also be fun storytelling and arts and crafts sessions right by Sungai Ara’s beloved waterfront. Open for children aged 3–12. Light refreshments are provided.
