The revamped PEM has now been around a year since the preview issue came out in September 2009. The response has been consistently good.
As we expected, immediate reactions have always been positive ones about the design. For this, we thank our reliable artists at Figtree Design.
We have to thank SERI’s executive director, YB Liew Chin Tong, for his strong and consistent support. It was after all he — a Subang boy — who felt that Penang needed a proud expression of itself in print, and who managed to get the necessary group of people together to start the project.
We must not forget the key figures who provided the kick-start, such as our able consultant Lim Siang Jin and our first business manager Ooi Geok Ling.
