Penang owes a lot to Andy Grove.Grove, a Silicon Valley icon, became Intel’s President in 1979, its CEO in 1987 and its Chairman of the Board in 1997 up until 2005. He was also Time magazine’s Man of the Year in 1997.When he passed away on March 21, 2016 at the age of 79, he was mourned, says Intel CEO Brian Krzanich, by “generations of technologists, entrepreneurs, and business leaders.”1The following tribute from Intel Chairman Andy Bryant captures the essence...
