THEATRE

Written, directed and produced by Dabble Dabble Jer Collective, Burden of Proof is a powerful theatre piece that features stories of resilience, survival and empowerment inspired by the lived realities of sexual violence victims in Malaysia. The production honours the survivors of gender-based violence in conjunction with the UN’s 16 Days of Activism Against Gender-Based Violence.

CONFERENCE

Organised by Penang Green Council, the Penang ESG Conference and Exhibition 2023 is an exhibition cum workshop focusing on environmental, social and governance (ESG) practices. The 1.5-days event will showcase how organisations can integrate ESG principles into their strategies, operations and decision-making processes to drive long-term value and positive impact. The event will also feature exhibition booths by different stakeholders, a panel discussion as well as networking sessions.

Themed “Terra Incognita”, the George Town Literary Festival invites visitors to venture afield and be comfortable with the unfamiliar and the in-between.
