Photos by Liam WongON 20 APRIL, Penang Institute staff, guided by Prof. Zulfigar Yasin and Norhanis Razalli, visited the soon-to-be Middle Bank Marine Sanctuary and Pulau Gazumbo, both of which are important nursery grounds for juvenile fish and invertebrates. In spite of the relative lack of conservation in these areas, last year, two new species of sea cucumber, Euthyonidiella zulfigaris and Acaudina spinifera, were found.
