Catch the exhilarating Chingay performances at Pesta Chingay Pulau Pinang. Accompanied by lion and dragon dance troupes, the parade will start from Padang Brown, and the group will move through Dato Keramat Road, Penang Road, Transfer Road, Sri Bahari Road, Chulia Street, Masjid Kapitan Keling Road, up till the main stage at the Esplanade at Light Street.

TALK
Penang Institute and The Dr. Wu Lien-Teh Society invite you to the latter’s 7th Annual Public Lecture, presented by the recipient of this year’s Dr. Wu Lien-Teh Award for Public Health, Prof. Tan Sri Dr. Jemilah Mahmood. Her lecture, “Planetary Health or Accelerate Our Extinction – We have a Choice”, will focus on planetary health as a way to frame both the problems and solutions needed to tackle the consequences of humanity’s actions. Admission is free for the first 60 pax!

FITNESS
The Penang state-level International Women’s Day celebration this year brings you HARIA! Mega Zumba! Themed “Embrace Equity” and encouraging the involvement of all segments of society, including men, women, the old, the young and the differently abled, the event aims to break the Malaysia Book of Records with 10,000 participants. LEARNING
Organised by the Penang Youth Development Corporation and Asia Pacific University of Technology & Innovation (APU) Campus (KL), the three-day two-night Tertiary Education Exploration IR4.0 Study Camp will introduce participants to robotics/mechatronics, mobile app development, cyber security and more! The bus will depart from Penang Youth Space in Jelutong on 16 March. Open to Malaysian youths aged 15 to 25 years old. Deadline for registration is 10 March, so hurry up and register.

BLOOD DONATION
Lions Club of Penang Host, together with Pusat Khidmat KADUN Komtar and other NGOs in Penang, is organising a blood donation campaign to collect blood for the blood bank to save lives.
