Penang Math Platform is organising Singapore Bar Modelling Workshop, where students will be taught the bar modelling technique, a simple but powerful visualisation tool that is commonly used for problem-solving. After mastering bar modelling, they’ll be able to understand Math questions better, break down complex word problems and solve them step by step and more.

Love Penang Run is now open for registration! Show your love for Penang and join the 5-km fun run with your friends and family, set to take place in George Town! Each participant is entitled to a t-shirt, finisher's medal and e-certificate. Love Penang Run is organised by the Penang state government and co-organised by the Penang State Sports Council and Penang Forward Sports Club. The deadline for registration is 5 August 2022.

Hin Bus Depot and Alliance Française de Penang presents the screening of Peau D'ane, a lovingly crafted, wildly eccentric adaptation of a classic French fairy tale directed by Jacques Demy. The movie follows a princess who must go into hiding as a scullery maid in order to fend off an unwanted marriage proposal—from her own father, the king.

Penang Green Council together with The Langur Project Penang is organising Let’s Sembang & Explore, an educational visit to the rainforest of Penang. Expect to see the rainforest through the eyes of a langur and learn the significance of Penang’s flora and fauna under the guidance of educators Ahmad Uzeir (Penang Green Council) and Jo Leen Yap (Langur Project Penang). Run for the Penang Deaf Association and help build a world without barriers for the deaf community. The Colourful Run is organised by the Penang Deaf Association in support of the education and development of the deaf society.
