AS INTERNATIONAL BORDERS begin opening up, Malaysian artists are receiving gilt-edged invitations to major international showcases such as the Venice Biennale (collateral event), the Documenta 15 in Kassel, Germany and Art Basel in Switzerland, not to mention residencies in Sharjah (United Arab Emirates), Helsinki (Finland) and Leipzig (Germany).This is phenomenal indeed.For the second consecutive series, Malaysia is taking part in the Venice Biennale (again collateral) through Port Perak’s vehicle called Pera + Flora + Fauna, at the Archivi della Misericordia...
