THE TURTLE-SHAPED Penang Island has four strategically positioned “flippers” at each of its geographic extremes. The bottom two “flippers” that extend to Tanjung Teluk Tempoyak on the southeast and Tanjung Gertak Sanggul on the southwest are lesser-known; these are tucked behind dense greenery and steep rocky terrain.
