Touching Hearts with Music is a charity concert in aid of the St. Xavier’s Marching Band and the school’s building fund. The three-hour programme, organised by the Parent-Teacher Association in collaboration with Kwong Wah Yit Poh, aims to raise funds for the construction of a three-storey building at Lebuh Farquhar, a school hall at St Xavier's Branch School in Pulau Tikus as well as to buy equipment for the school’s Corps of Pipes and Drums.

Tax deduction letters will be issued for any contributions above RM1,000.

La fille du regiment (The Daughter of the Regiment) is an opera comique in two acts by Gaetano Donizetti, set to a French libretto by Jules-Henri Vernoy de Saint-Georges and Jean-Francois Bayard. The cast includes Jane Soong as Marie, Yap Jin Hin as Tonio, Shawn Liew as Sergeant Sulpice and Regina Neoh as the Marquise of Berkenfield; along with the Kuala Lumpur City Opera Chorus and KL City Opera Orchestra Ensemble. Conducted by Juan Montoya, stage direction by Amelia Tan and Lim Jae Sern as concert master.

Betrayal is a story revolving around a love triangle between Emma, her husband Robert and his best friend Jerry. Penang Run is back with three categories: half marathon, 10km run and the fun run. Run along the historic Esplanade and take in the sights along Gurney Drive. This run aims to promote Penang as a preferred state for runners and to create a mentally and physically fit community. Expect T-shirts, a lucky draw, refreshments, finisher medals and certificates. Registration deadline is June 16.
