2012 has passed by with lightning speed and as we approach the year's end, there will be a new round of expatriates arriving in Penang looking to find their ideal accommodation. Like many of those who came before them, it will take some time for them to adjust their expectations to what is on offer.Christmas, like other religious holidays celebrated in Penang, is always special. Family and friends get into a jovial mood, the town is glitteringly decorated and drivers have to deal with an influx of out-of-town traffic.

The lucky ones find their way to the Feringgi Grill and Bar at Shangri-La’s Rasa Sayang in Batu Ferringi.
