Penang is Asia’s eighth most liveable city for second year running
Global consulting firm ECA International has named Penang as Malaysia’s most liveable city, and eighth in Asia, for the second year in a row. Kuala Lumpur has dropped from ninth place in Asia to 10th. Singapore retained its position as the most liveable city in the world, followed by Sydney.
Teng Chang Yeow named new Penang BN chairman
Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Abdul Razak has officially named Malaysian People's Movement Party (Gerakan) secretary-general Teng Chang Yeow as chairman of Penang Barisan Nasional, succeeding ex-Chief Minister Tan Sri Dr Koh Tsu Koon.
