Great food with even better friends is the order of the day. Finding a quiet restaurant to sit and chat, where the music doesn’t overshadow the conversation, is very important indeed.
Penang’s at Little Wine Bar offered me just the kind of place I was seeking. An opportunity to “chillax” with friends and catch up on their past few months’ events, I used this time to embark on a culinary journey through both the menu and the specials board. Okay, so I didn’t single-handedly eat the entire menu I had help but between my friends and me, we certainly made an impression!
Nestled cosily at a quiet corner table, lit by an old-fashioned style lamp, tea light candles on the windowsill and a very funky candelabrum, our seats provided an opportunity for us to sit, talk, people-watch, and even peer into the inner workings of the kitchen.
