If you’re looking for a day of cheeky seduction, head over to the Come Close featuring The Movers art installation at the revitalised Hin Bus Depot Art Centre.

Artists Louise Low, Annabelle Ng, Ee Yan and Khing have successfully transformed the exhibition space into a captivating, interactive and cheeky environment. We say cheeky because there are cars, trishaws and bicycles covered in bras! In case you’re wondering, yes, the bras are pre-owned. We recommend that you bring your date here, and see him or her blush.

Charity

Everyone is cycling these days! Cycle for Hearts, a cycling charity event organised by Mended Hearts Penang and Penang Adventist Hospital, allows you to join the cycling craze for a good cause.

All proceeds will go to the Penang Adventist Hospital’s Patient Heart Fund. Other than an increased heart rate and possible weight loss, participants can expect free event t-shirts, goodie bags, certificates and eligibility for a lucky draw!

What happens when a kid meets a prince from a faraway planet who has only one question: “How do I protect a rose from a goat?” Find out what transpires when the two of them set off on a journey to get the answer.

The Day I Met the Prince, a children’s theatre written by Singaporean scriptwriter Kuo Pao Kun, is based on French masterpiece Le Petit Prince by Antoine de Saint- Exupéry. Backed by executive producer Datuk Faridah Merican and artistic director Joe Hasham, The Day I Met the Prince will not disappoint. Bring your little ones along for a localised take on French literature.

Little tadpoles are known to swim around in water, long enough to grow legs and turn into frogs. They are not known to ask questions or look for their mama. A new production by Paper Monkey theatre, Looking for Mama tells the adventures of brave little tadpoles in their search for their mother. Cuteness factor alert: the actors are handcrafted puppets!
