Situated along Jalan Kelawai is a breathtaking piece of structural design. Two blocks of 43-storey residential units and a 10-storey office tower rise over a futuristic mall, which houses a secret: a century-old heritage building within the mall itself. This is none other than Gurney Paragon, a relatively new addition to Penang’s spot to live, eat and play. And it has plenty to offer, from retail products and entertainment to sumptuous gastronomic fares.

Penang Monthly talks to executive directors Khor Tze Ming and Lily Tan of Hunza Properties Berhad, the developer and management of Gurney Paragon, about the philosophy behind this special mix of facilities.
