Good news art-loving Penangites! Supported by Vans, artist Kide Baharudin is showcasing his artworks in the solo exhibition Pe’el. The displayed artworks feature stories of people in villages and towns, comparing similarities in daily behaviour and social activities in 1950s and 1960s Malaysia.



Balik Pulau is more than just its scenic villages and paddy fields. Organised by Tour At George Town, discover Balik Pulau on bicycle under the guidance of an experienced tour guide, get up close with farm animals as well as participate in a sharing session about mangrove by an expert! The Penang Youth Development Corporation invites Penangites between the ages of 15-30 to participate in its Column Writing competition. Themed "Youth For Future: Fight Against Depression", interested participants are encouraged to submit a 300-word opinion piece on the topic in either Bahasa Malaysia, English, Tamil or Mandarin. Deadline for submissions ends on October 20, 2020.



“The Intimate Talk” aims to bring women together to empower and inspire each other. Organised by penangpac and sponsored by the Penang State EXCO Office for Social Development & Non-Islamic Religious Affairs, the project comprises four sessions focusing on four different topics.

Kick-starting the first session is “Single parent: A blessing in disguise or a burden?” and features actress Farah Adilla and guest speaker Elizabeth Hor. Admission is free, however, registration is encouraged
