Jazz Showcase #3 will showcase South-east Asia's leading jazz band, led by prominent Malaysian jazz pianist Tay Cher Siang. The WVC Malaysian Jazz Ensemble will perform a selection of its own brand of jazz, while BBoP, Penang's very own community big band, will perform a selection of big band music and Shanghai Jazz tunes, with special guest appearance by Datin Seri Serene Yuen.

Treat your taste buds for a good cause at the Children’s Protection Society’s Heritage Treasure Hunt and Charity Food Fair. The society is a non-profit, non-governmental and religiously unaffiliated organisation that caters to neglected, abandoned and abused children who come from dysfunctional and povertystricken families.

Organised by Arts USM, Jungle Book The Musical is a theatrical adaptation of Rudyard Kipling's The Jungle Book. The musical highlights the struggles and narrative of the stateless Rohingya children. The Penang Esports Festival 2019 is set to be the largest landmark gaming and esports event in northern Malaysia. Organised for the first time in Penang with the mission to establish the state as a gaming and esports hub in Malaysia and beyond, the festival will see gaming showcases, top esports championships and many more gaming-related activities.

Karnival Pesta Tanglung Bukit Mertajam Penang 2019 is a midautumn festival celebration where traditional Chinese lanterns of all shapes are beautifully lit and paraded by young children. Festival-goers can expect competitions and street performances.

Also known as “Kew Ong Yeah”, the Nine Emperor Gods Festival sees devotees cleansing their souls by practising a vegetarian diet (so you will find rows of vegetarian food stalls here) and enduring body piercing and fire walking during the nine-day celebration.
