Competition

How can we improve robot design and efficiency to suit different terrains? Challenge yourself by participating in Penang International Science Fair 2018’s Lego Robotics: Robot Adventure competition! Workshop

The idea of storytelling is to animate the human spirit, enhance the imagination, strengthen education, preserve and renew the world’s fading cultures, inspire leadership, and build peace. Learn the methods to entertain children and adults through creative and imaginative storytelling experience, and expose parents as well as teachers to the various forms of storytelling techniques and formats at the Penang International Kids Storytelling Festival 2018's Storytelling Technique Workshops for Children and Adults.

Conference

The 2nd Seberang Perai International Conference on Ecotourism and Conservation Effort (SPICEC 2018) returns with the theme “Promoting Local Economic Development (LED) Through Ecotourism” to focus on the economic impact of ecotourism to the local people. Learn some of the best practices to promote ecotourism and local economic development without limiting nature conservation. Local traders, academia, NGOs and members of the public are encouraged to attend.

Network

Lean In Penang, a group inspired by the Lean In book written by Sheryl Sandberg, will be organising its annual kick-off event! Network with like-minded emerging leaders; hear from women who have made it to the top such as Corina Tan, Lynn Olson and Mariam Lim; and discover events and activities the group has planned this year. There will also be a Centered Leadership workshop with Anushia Kandasamy. Admission is free but prior registration is required.
