The travelling United Buddy Bears (UBB) exhibition promoting peace and harmony is here in Penang! The exhibition features 140 two-metre tall bear statues, each individually designed by artists on behalf of their native countries. Come meet them up close and let the bears guide you through a journey around the globe.


Do your part for the visually impaired community by supporting the I Can See Clearly Now Charity Concert. The concert, organised by St. Nicholas’ Home, features music by Penang Philharmonic Big Band and various guest artists.

Zumba the evening away to raise awareness for breast cancer at the Pink Warriors Zumba Charity event brought to you by FIT ONE Fitness and Nutrition Studio. Proceeds will benefit PINK Penang, a breast cancer support group that provides help and encouragement for breast cancer patients and their families through their various community programmes.

Food Fair

Come spend your money and fill your tummy for a good cause at the AG-4PAWS Food Fair. 4PAWS is a no kill, no chain, no cage shelter where dogs are treated more like family pets. Expect stall after stall of local favourites such as chicken rice, roti jala and nasi ulam. There are also stalls selling treats especially for your fur kids such as dog food, accessories and toys!

The Cassia Half Marathon is definitely an event not to be missed by avid marathon runners. A certificate of participation and a finisher’s medal will be awarded to participants who have completed the run. Cash prizes will be given to top 10 finishers of each category except for the fun run category. The closing date for registration is October 3, so sign up quick!
