Festival

Did you know that the dragon emblem used in dragon boat races signifies unity? This is because the dragon is said to be a combination of other animals in the Chinese zodiac, with the head of an ox, the antlers of a deer, the mane of a horse, the body and scales of a snake, the claws of an eagle, and the tail of a fish. The Penang International Dragon Boat Festival will host teams from Hong Kong, Taipei, the US, Singapore and more.
