Chowrasta,after the market closes

Chowrasta Market is one of the oldest markets in George Town, Penang. Built in 1890 as a single-storey market to serve the nearby community, it underwent a major transformation in 1961, changing the building to what it is today – a two-storey market with shop lots. In 2013, Chowrasta Market began its second transformation to become a bigger and better market.

This is a compilation of images from my personal project capturing moments and activities during after-trade hours at Chowrasta Market.
