Rise up to the challenge at Asia's only night obstacle event! The Great Eastern Viper Arena is back with a 7km route along with 15 unique obstacles. Participants are encouraged to join with family and friends as a team, but individuals can still participate in the fun. Nevertheless, everyone will help one another to overcome all obstacles. Expect a medal, T-shirts and a great story to tell your friends and family.

Pertubuhan Pelindung Khazanah Alam Malaysia (PEKA), an NGO that aims to stop the destruction of natural resources, will be organising their annual Save Our Rainforest Race, and this time, they are heading to Penang! This 16km hike through nature is aimed at replanting trees and creating awareness of the importance of conserving our rainforest. Fee includes breakfast, lunch, T-shirt, race-kit and a tree for each team. Registration closes on March 21, 2017.

The annual Ride for Sight 2017, organised by the St Nicholas’ Home for the visually disabled, is back. All registered participants will get a specially designed limited edition Brooks T-shirt worth RM79.90 (retail). In addition, if you register as a group, you will enjoy one free registration for every five registered. The 200th, 400th, 600th, 800th and 1,000th registrant will also receive a mystery gift. Back for the fourth time, the Penang Yosakoi Parade 2017 will be a venue for culture, dance and charity. The parade is reminiscent of the Buenos Aires Carnival or New Orleans' Mardi Gras Parade, where dancers, floats and bands parade down the street in an all-out celebration street party. Expect kendo demonstrations, street dancing, cosplayers, parade rides and many more.
